All vehicles are inspected before they leave America and are also inspected when they arrive in the UK.

The Homologation work or, in laymans terms, getting the vehicle ready for it's Single Vehicle Approval (SVA)inspection is really quite simple compared to what you may have been told.

It is as follows:

Changing the lights

Making sure there are no sharp edges

Checking that all alterations made in the cab are in keeping with UK regulations

The brakes and emmissions are considered as good if not better than UK vehicles.
